TanGo is a program that will allow you to play Go through many servers around the world.
Go is an ancient Japanese game, played by two players who alternately place black and white stones on the vacant intersections of a 19x19 board. Once placed, stones cannot be moved, unless they are surrounded and captured by the opponent's stones. The objective of the game is to control a larger portion of the board in comparison to the opponent.

It is possible to play Go with other players worlwide by using many available servers, as IGS, CTN, LGS, CWS, WING and NNGS. This program will let you connect to all these servers. You will have to obtain an account in order to be accepted in those servers, but the program has an NNGS account already included. In addition, TanGo will also let you start your own server, that you can use to play against other opponents in your network.

The game engine used by TanGo is GNU Go 3.6.0. You will be able to access to this engine, and modify the settings you want to use when playing Go.

By using this program, you can even chat with your opponents.
